It is with great sadness that the family wishes to announce the passing of Lloyd William Crowe, born on February 5th, 1919 at Avonhurst, Saskatchewan, who passed away peacefully at the Pioneers Lodge in Moose Jaw, SK on Thursday, January 13th, 2022. Lloyd was predeceased by his parents, John and Alice Crowe; his wife, Adele Pauline (passed away March 29th, 1998); and 12 siblings: George, Vera, Gladys, Rae, John, Ada, Charles, Violet, Morris, Aubrey, Louvain and Mable.

Lloyd grew up on the family farm and attended school at Avonhurst, Cupar and Fort QuAppelle where he graduated from grade 12. Lloyd married the love of his life, Adele in October 1941 and raised 5 children: Vivian (Ron) Kell, Rodney, Douglas (Cheri), Grant (Cindy) and Dean (Gerry). He has 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

A Private Family Service will be held on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.  Those not able to attend are invited to view the service virtually on by going to www.moosejawfuneralhome.com/webcast/. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lloyd’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society 1910 McIntyre St Regina, SK S4P 2R3.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.
