It is with sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Gordon John Connolly, just four days day short of his 70th birthday. Gordon was born and raised in Moose Jaw. Gordon moved to Thompson Manitoba where he worked for 30 years with Vale Mining Company. Before moving to Thompson, he married Karen Tuplin. They raised two children. Upon his retirement they moved back to Moose Jaw. He is predeceased by his parents Gordon and Catherine “Kay”, brother Allen and sister Heather. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years Karen; daughter Melissa (Troy); son Brett; grandchildren Devan, Jonathan, Phillip, Connor, Reid, Julia, Trey, Landon, Logan, Jayden, Khloe; great grandchildren Sophia, Jonathan Jr., Jesse, Kiara and Sharlette; siblings Doug, Timothy (Karen), Daniel, Sandra (Doug) as well as nieces and nephews. In keeping with Gordon’s wishes there will be no funeral service. In living memory of Gordon, a memorial planting will be made by W.J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
