During the war they spent time training in St. Thomas, ON and Calgary, AB, settling in Moose Jaw shortly thereafter. Grace was a homemaker committed to raising her children and loved cooking and entertaining. Her grandchildren all have fond memories of family feasts at Grandmas. She was very active in Zion United Church serving as President of UCW. Grace was also involved with numerous community groups serving as president of Moose Jaw’s Rotary Inner Wheel and P.E.O. She enjoyed golfing and once scored a hole-in-one at the Hillcrest Golf Course, much to the chagrin of husband Aden. Also enjoyed playing bridge, lawn bowling, and doing crosswords. In her retirement years she enjoyed travelling with Aden to warmer climates and later in life to the Holy Land, UK, Europe, and Alaska. The family would like to thank the staff at Providence Place, the Bentley, and Riverbend Crossing for their compassionate care in her later years.
