It is with great sadness that the family of Alice Buchholz announces her passing on January 28th, 2023. 

Alice was born in Coronach on August 11th, 1951, to Ida and Calder Scott, but was raised in Moose Jaw. She had many hobbies including, sewing, knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, scrapbooking, and reading. Alice would go all out when it came to her hobbies. She also loved to cook and bake. She would always make sure there was enough to share with everyone in her life. Alice worked various jobs through-out her lifetime, but her main job was “Mom” to many, she would open her heart and home to anyone that needed it. 

Alice is predeceased by her husband Robert; parents Ida and Calder Scott; brothers Neal and Ronald Scott; sister Maxine Scott; sister-in-law Shirley Thirsk; in-laws Margaret and Henry Buchholz. She is survived by her children Teresa, Robert (Dianne), Kevin, David; siblings, Darlene (Rick) Smolak, Tom (Marilyn) Scott, Ida (Garth) Rousell and Elaine (Darrell) Kohl; sibling in-laws Jim Buchholz, Carol (Ray) Campbell, Sharon (Chris) Konieczny, Rick Thirsk, Ken (Dawn) Buchholz, Ron (Jan) Buchholz, Debbie (Carl) Bressers, Warren (Marilynn) Buchholz, Allen (Irene) Buchholz, Terry (Laura) Buchholz; grandchildren, Courtney Lavallee, Samantha McDonald, Taran Buchholz, Maddox Buchholz, Brayden Johnson, Harlow Buchholz; seven great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A celebration of life will be held on Friday February 3rd at 1pm at W. J. Jones and Son Funeral Chapel in Moose Jaw, SK. Memorial donations may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society 1755 Stadacona St W, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.
