On Saturday, April 13th, 2019, after 68 years on this earth, Florence Pearl Blair (née: Green) took her final breaths with her loving daughters by her side. She passed on to join, in the cosmic beyond, her late husband, Ken; parents, George and Lillian Green; and father-in-law, Irving Blair.

Mom, Mum, Mother, Mummy, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, Daughter-in-law, Friend, Artist. Flo will be so deeply missed by her daughters, Maren and Holly and her sons-in-law, Sean and Cory. Grandma will be especially missed by her adored grandchildren: Liam, Luke, and Lily. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Lynda and Angela; brother-in-law, Ricky; brother-in-law, Dick; mother-in-law, Margaret; and brother-in-law, Shawn. Aunt Flo will be also be especially missed by her nieces and nephews: Matthew (Quynh), Adam (Melissa), Hilary (Colin), Alana (Connor), Daniel (Erin), Andrew and Michael.

Extended family including Auntie Betty, Auntie Megan and Uncle Roger will also miss her so very much. Her very special friends of over 25 years, Trish Leidal and Linda Dirkson, whose friendships she treasured until the end will lovingly remember their bonds. Her special friends in her sewing group, in the Quilters Guild, and in her book club will cherish her memory always. All her life, Flo has been a creative and talented artist. There was never a time that she was not working on one project or another. Many homes across Canada have some token of her artistry, whether it be a hand stitched master-piece or a quilt so lovingly crafted, it’s like being wrapped up in a part of her everlasting love. They will be treasured always. She will be so very missed by all those who knew and loved her. Our hearts are broken at having to say goodbye to this amazing woman far too soon.
