It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Gerald Beausoleil on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at the age of 69.

Gerald will be dearly missed by his wife of 48 years, Diane; his three children, Mark (Teena Swahn), Michelle (Dean Leischner), and Mike (Jodi Beausoleil); his grandchildren, Tinisha, Jordan, Brayden, Haylee (Mark Bevan), and Paige; his great grandchildren (Harper and Declan); his siblings, Rita (Wayne), Dianne (Barry) and Aline (Dale), and sisters-in-law Carol (Dwain) and Pat (Melvin) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Gerald was predeceased by his parents, Roger and Evelyne Beausoleil; and his sister Madeleine (Doug).

Gerald was born in 1952, the second eldest child of five, born in Willow Bunch, SK. Gerald’s love of singing carried till his last days in the hospital, mouthing the words of some of his favorite songs. There was a sparkle in his eyes each time he performed with a microphone or broom stick. He loved watching the Rough Riders and Edmonton Oilers on TV.

Gerald and Diane fell in love and married in October 1973. He was grateful and humbled by her servant loving heart in caring for him in their home until the end.

Gerald found great joy in his three children. He was proud of them all and loved knowing what was happening in their lives.

He was grateful to have a career that he loved in sales. He also relished many of the relationships he built over his career.

We are grateful for the care he received at Pioneer Lodge on Memory Lane in his final days. We are also appreciative of the care he received over the years from Dr. Sanderson and all of the staff at Homecare. This kindness will forever be remembered.

We will miss you and look forward to seeing you in heaven.
