Beaton, Mildred
On May 16, 2020 Mildred Claudia Beaton, age 80, passed away peacefully in Regina, Saskatchewan. Born on July 13, 1939 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she is the daughter of the late Claude and Florence Low. Claudia was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Norman Beaton and her brother, Donald Low of Toronto, Ontario. She is survived by her three children: Mary Ann Onstead of Moose Jaw, Jim Beaton (Michelle) of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and Jennifer Marce (Kelly) of Regina; seven grandchildren: Joel, Brian and Alanna McKechnie, Adam, Colin and Grace Beaton and Jacob Marce. Claudia also has three great-grandchildren. Claudia and her husband Norm worked tirelessly to provide love and support for their kids and grandkids. Claudia’s greatest love was her family, to whom she gave unselfishly her whole life. She was a military wife who navigated through life’s obstacles with graciousness and unconditional love for all those she held dear. As we moved across the country, she and Dad always provided us with the understanding that home was where we were all together. She loved being a mother and a grandmother and will be missed dearly, but remembered with such love and endearment. Mom was always there for her family and we would like to think that she and Dad are now together again, continuing their journey. Rest in peace, our sweet Nana.
