We cry for the life you lived and the one you didn't
Laurie John Azure, known as “LJ” by his friends & family, passed away suddenly on April 2, 2022 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan at the age of 45. Born in Winnipeg, MB on August 27, 1976 to Donna Cooney and Wally Azure. LJ lived there briefly until his parents relocated back to Moose Jaw, where he remained for most of his life. He was blessed with many great family and friends who loved him dearly. LJ loved fiercely and always made others feel special. He made friends everywhere he went and was always the life of the party. With his sense of humor, he could light up any room.
LJ will be greatly missed by his children Courtney, Sydney, Logan, Peyton and Ava Azure; sisters Dora Lee Martel, Chantelle Warren and Tammy Azure; Uncles Arnold (Leslie) Azure, Laurie Azure and John Cooney; Aunts Linda and Betsy Cooney, special friends Sherry, Kevin, Jarrod, Jeff, Walter, Nikki and Rodney; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. LJ was predeceased by his Mom Donna Cooney; Dad Wally Azure; Uncles Colin and Jerry; and grandparents.
