EILEEN ARMSTRONG
Mrs. Eileen Armstrong, aged 95 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away in a local hospital on Thursday, June 4th, 2020. A private family graveside service will be held at Rosedale Cemetery. Mrs. Armstrong was born, raised, and attended school in Moose Jaw. She spent her entire life in Moose Jaw except for a short period of time when she worked at the government offices in Regina following her discharge from the Air Force in 1946. In 1961 she married William George Armstrong in Moose Jaw. Eileen spent many years raising her three children and being active in many church groups. Predeceased by her husband of 28 years, William George Armstrong (1989); parents, David and Ann Hallsworth; sisters Catherine Hallsworth, Alice Hallsworth, Lucy (Reinhold) Tress, Evelyn (Roy) Hefley; sister-in-law Laura (Ralph) Peake; mother in-law Marion Armstrong. She will be sadly missed by her two sons, Tim (Donna) Armstrong of Moose Jaw and David Armstrong of Moose Jaw; daughter Sandy (Danny) Rach of Moose Jaw; two grandchildren Cory Armstrong of Moose Jaw and Candice Armstrong (Carter Powley) of Regina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. We would like to thank all the nursing, doctor and support staff at the F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital as well the Home Care workers.
