CURTIS JOHN AAMUNDSEN

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Curtis in April 2023 at the age of 51.

Curtis is survived by his four sons Michael, Kyle, Justin and Trevor; grandchildren Emila and Isla; mother Joan Paquin and his father Chris (Kendra) Aamundsen; his siters Alynne (Gary) Knibbs, Dina (Jason) Boggs; extended family Lisa Oliver, Kaylen (Sarah) Ficko; nephews Chase Hartum, Zakery (Sarah) and their son Jasper; niece Jasmyn (Jesse) Hubbard; many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends Craig and Michelle Waldbilling.

He was predeceased by his grandparents John (Dick) and Flora McDonnell and Peter and Ulla Aamundsen.

Curtis could be funny and full of life, loving and compassionate. He was very proud of his boys and his grandkids.

He attended the school for the deaf in Saskatoon until it closed. He then moved to Ontario where his sons Michael and Kyle were born. Years later he moved back to Saskatchewan where Justin and Trevor were born. Ten years ago he moved to BC with his second family Craig and Michelle Waldbilling where he loved to play darts.

Curtis battled with mental illness on and off for years and in April he lost his battle.

He may be gone, but never forgotten.

A Graveside service will be held on July 6, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Cemetery.

In living memory of Curtis, a memorial planting will be made by W.J. Jones & Son Ltd. Please sign the memorial register at website: www.wjjonesandson.com (Obituaries). Dayna Chamberlain - Funeral Director
