Xavier Sarrasin had a goal in regulation time for Blainville-Boisbriand (7-5-1).
Goalie Charles-Édward Gravel made 23 saves through overtime and turned away all three skaters he faced in the shootout.
Alexis Morin scored for Chicoutimi (5-6-2), while goalie Mathys Fernandez stopped 26 shots.
The Armada couldn't score on their three power plays and the Sagueneens went 1 for 4 with the man advantage.
