The Storm jumped out to a 4-1 lead midway through the second period before the Greyhounds responded with three unanswered goals to tie the game and force extra time. 

Bryce McConnell-Barker and Jacob Frasca each scored and contributed a pair of helpers, while Gavin Hayes and Kirill Kudryavtsev both had a goal and an assist for Sault Ste. Marie, which took a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Guelph got a goal apiece from Vilmer Alriksson, Brody Crane, Charlie Paquette and Parker Snelgrove. Gavin Grundner added two assists for the Storm, who will be in a must-win situation when Game 4 goes Wednesday in Guelph.

Charlie Schenkel started in net for the Greyhounds and gave up four goals on 13 shots. Landon Miller made eight saves in relief. 

Storm goaltender Brayden Gillespie stopped 33 of 38 shots.

SUDBURY, Ont. -- Lucas Karmiris put away a pair of goals for Mississauga as the Steelheads doubled up the Sudbury Wolves 4-2.

Chas Sharpe and Porter Martone also scored for the Steelheads, who captured their first victory of the series. 

David Goyette and Landon McCallum found the back of the net for the Wolves.

Game 4 of the series is set for Wednesday in Sudbury.

FRONTENACS 4 BATTALION 1

(Battalion lead the best-of-seven series 2-1)

KINGSTON, Ont. -- Three first-period goals powered the Kingston Frontenacs to a 4-1 win over the North Bay Battalion. 

Paul Ludwinski scored and had an assist, while Roman Schmidt, Ethan Miedema and Matthew Soto all added goals for Frontenacs, who earned their first win of the series in front of a hometown crowd. 

The Batallion got their lone goal from Jacob Therrien early in the second period.

Kingston netminder Mason Vaccari stopped 20 of 21 shots and Mike McIvor had 23 saves for North Bay. 

The Frontenacs will host Game 4 on Wednesday.

(Spirit lead best-of-seven series 3-0)

OWEN SOUND, Ont. -- Joey Willis scored the game winner late in the second period as the Saginaw Spirit took a 2-1 win that pushed the Owen Sound Attack to the brink of elimination

Nic Sima had the other goal for Saginaw and goalie Andrew Oke stopped 24 of 25 shots. 

Colby Barlow provided the offence for the Attack, who got 40 saves from Carter George. 

Game 4 goes Wednesday in Owen Sound.
