HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have re-signed international wide receiver Jalen Saunders.

The 26-year-old registered 45 receptions for 739 receiving yards and two touchdowns in nine games for the Tiger-Cats last season before suffering a season-ending knee injury in a Sept. 3 game against the Toronto Argonauts.

In 25 games over two seasons with Hamilton (2017-18), the native of Stockton, Calif., has accumulated 121 receptions for 1,909 yards and six touchdowns. He led the Tiger-Cats in receiving yards in 2017 with 1,170.

Saunders appeared in nine games with the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints in the 2014 NFL season, posting one reception for eight yards, 15 punt returns for 125 yards and three kickoff returns for 139 yards. He also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots and Chicago Bears over his three-year NFL career.

Meanwhile, the Calgary Stampeders announced they have signed four 2018 draft picks — offensive lineman David Brown, kicker Gabe Ferraro, defensive back Dagogo Maxwell and running back Atlee Simon.

All four attended Stamps training camp this past season before returning to university.

Elsewhere, the Ottawa Redblacks announced their entire coaching staff will return in 2019.
