TORONTO — Toronto's Pearson International Airport says some delays are expected after a private plane was damaged while touching down this morning.

The airport says in a social media post that two crew members were on the plane and no injuries were reported after a landing gear malfunction.

But it says passengers may see some delays as a result of the temporary closure of two runways.

The airport says flights from its other two runways continue to arrive and depart as usual.

The post says the private plane managed to taxi down the runway this morning before coming to a complete stop at an intersection.

The Transport Safety Board says it is deploying a team of investigators to the scene.
