The Warriors lost a tough one on the road Wednesday night, dropping a 6-1 decision to the Saskatoon Blades.

Kyle Crnkovic opened the scoring for Saskatoon around the midway point of the first before the Blades added another in the dying moments of the period to enter the intermission up 2-0.

Ryan Hughes would add another for Saskatoon before Justin Almeida got the Warriors on the board with his 21st of the season. That was all Moose Jaw would get in this one though, as the Blades would go on to get goals from Dawson Davidson, Max Gerlach, and Brandon Schuldhaus.

Special teams were on display here, with Saskatoon going 4/6 with the man advantage. The Warriors scored their lone goal on the powerplay, ending the night 1/5.

The Warriors were outshot 48-20. Adam Evanoff took the loss in net while Nolan Maier picked up the win for the Blades.

The Warriors are now eight points back of Saskatoon for second place in the East Division.

Moose Jaw is in action again on Friday against the Hurricanes in Lethbridge.
