Is your child’s favourite playground safe? An upcoming South West District for Culture, Recreation and Sports seminar will offer all you need to know.

It can be a parent’s worst nightmare.

Sending your youngster out to have fun in their neighbourhood playground, only to have them sustain a serious injury because the equipment wasn’t maintained or the facility just wasn’t as safe as it should be.

The South West District for Culture, Sport and Recreation wants to help with that concern.

The organization is holding a Playground Safety Workshop on Tuesday, July 27 over the Zoom online meeting app, covering a host of potential issues that may arise.

The event will take place in partnership with SunCorp Valuations and will offer information that anyone involved in playground maintenance will find valuable when it comes to keeping kids safe in their favourite outdoor playspaces.

The seminar will run from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with full details coming soon.
