You will find lots of fun activities in and around Moose Jaw and area this weekend. The following list highlights some events you won’t want to miss out on.

Homegrown Farmer’s Market

Shop local at the Homegrown Farmer’s Market this Saturday. As usual, the market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. along Langdon Crescent. You will find all kinds of tasty treats, homemade items, and fresh produce. 

Used Book and Puzzle Sale

The Hospital Auxiliary will continue its used book and puzzle sale and penny parade on Saturday and Sunday at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital. The sale will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Proceeds from the event will go towards the purchase of hospital equipment.

Films for Friends

Moose Jaw Families for Change will once again offer its popular Films for Friends series this Saturday. You’re invited to a screening of Beetlejuice at the Kinsmen Inclusion Centre at 1 p.m. The cost is $5 and includes popcorn. Proceeds will go to the Moose Jaw Humane Society. 

Dungeons and Dragons Meet-Up

The Moose Jaw Gamers Association invites you to attend a D&D session this Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Public Library. Bring your own Adventure League character or build one. Volunteers will be on hand to assist. This program is for ages 16 and up. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Copies of the Player’s Handbook will be available for reference.

The LGBTQ2S & Allies Potluck

Looking for a sense of community and a good meal? Moose Jaw Pride will host a community potluck on Saturday between 2 and 7 p.m. at their drop-in centre. There will be a social and games at 2 and the meal will start at 4.

Aladdin Film Screening

Stop by the Moose Jaw Public Library Theatre on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. for a viewing of the 2019 remake of Aladdin. The event is free and is suitable for all ages.

Conway Twitty Tribute Show

The songs of one country music’s most beloved stars will be on display at the Mae Wilson Theatre on Saturday at 7 p.m. Conway Twitty’s grandson, Tre Twitty, will perform. Tickets are still available and can purchased from the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre box office.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Hopkins 

Visit Hopkins Dining Parlour on Sunday for a thanksgiving meal. You will enjoy roast turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, vegetable medley, salad, dinner roll, and pumpkin pie with whipped cream. The meal will be served from 5 to 9 p.m. Call 306-692-5995 to reserve a table.
