More road work is set to begin.
The city is advising residents that a road resurfacing project will begin today, June 10, on Manitoba Street.
Crews will mill the existing asphalt, perform repairs, install, and compact new asphalt between Third Avenue NE and Third Avenue NW.
Work begins today on the westbound lane of Third Avenue NE. Once this is complete, work will begin on the eastbound lanes.
Traffic will be re-routed and down to one lane during this time. Expect delays.
While construction is ongoing you may have difficulties accessing businesses within the construction zone. All businesses will remain open, however, and alternate access routes will be made available.
It is expected the work will be completed by Thursday, June 27, weather permitting.
