WHL releases East Division schedule, Warriors in action opening night

Moose Jaw to face Brandon in opener on Friday, Mar. 12; first meeting with Pats set for Tuesday, Mar. 16

The schedule is set, the games are a go and the Moose Jaw Warriors now know who they’ll face when the puck drops in  the Western Hockey League’s East Division hub.

The Warriors will take on the Brandon Wheat Kings in the first game to be played in the Brandt Centre in Regina on Friday, Mar. 12, with puck drop at 4 p.m.

The schedule will have little room for time off, as the 24-game schedule will wrap up on Monday, Apr. 26 when the Warriors face the Saskatoon Blades.

Games throughout the schedule will take place at either 4 p.m. or 8 p.m., with the Warriors receiving 14 of the late starts in their 24-game schedule.

Moose Jaw is back in action on Sunday, Mar. 14 at 8 p.m. against the Prince Albert Raiders before facing the Regina Pats for the first time on Tuesday, Mar. 16 at 8 p.m. You can check out the full schedule by clicking here.

All games are in the Brandt Centre hub, with the teams housed in the University of Regina dormitories.
