It is election day in Moose Jaw.

The writ for the federal election was dropped back on Aug. 15, creating a whirlwind 36-day campaign that will conclude today.

The Liberals won the last election in 2019 with 157 seats, compared to the Conservatives' 121 seats. A total of 170 seats is needed to form a majority government.

If you have not already voted, you can do so at your assigned polling station today between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

To vote you must be a Canadian citizen and at least 18 years of age on election day. You can still register to vote on election day at your assigned polling station.

You will need to prove your identity and verify your address. Masks will be required.
