Following the schedule released by public health officials last week, the vaccine eligibility age has once again lowered today to include more individuals.

As of 8 a.m. on May 10, residents aged 29 and older are now able to receive a COVID-19 vaccination from any of the clinics or pharmacies providing immunization in the province.

This includes booked appointments at mass immunization clinics, pharmacies, walk-in and drive-through clinics, and mobile units.

The age requirement for vaccination for those living in the northern region of the province remains at 18 and older, and all previously identified priority groups — including phase one healthcare workers, frontline workers and first responders, and the clinically vulnerable — are still eligible.

The province’s continued plan indicates that the eligibility age will be lowered further on Wednesday, to include ages 26 and over, and again on Friday to include ages 23 and older.

Public health has also shared details of walk-in and drive-through clinic availability for the remainder of the week.

Moose Jaw’s walk-in clinic will be reopening to the public on May 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., to anyone over the eligibility age or within priority groups.

The clinic is located on the Moose Jaw Exhibition Grounds, at 250 Thatcher Drive, and will be providing vaccines on a first-come first-serve basis.

Updates on clinic wait times are available online at saskatchewan.ca/drive-thru-vax.
