Two people stabbed in Moose Jaw last night

Police were kept busy on Thursday night with two separate stabbing incidents

Last night Moose Jaw Police dealt with two separate stabbing incidents. As a result, one person is in hospital and another has been charged with attempted murder.

First, police attended a residence for a 911 call at approximately 6:30 p.m. Police say a male entered a residence and stabbed another male in the neck.

The victim was able to overpower the accused and restrain him until police arrived.

The accused, a 24-year-old male from Moose Jaw whose name has not yet been released, has been charged with break and enter and attempted murder. He will be appearing in court this morning.

Then, around 11:30 p.m. police were dispatched to a home for a reported dispute.

Upon arrival, a male was found to be suffering from a stab wound to the chest. He was rushed to the hospital by EMS where he is recovering from his injuries.

Before the police arrived an unknown male suspect fled the residence.
