Two new COVID-19 cases, including one in the south

There are two new COVID-19 cases to report today, June 10, including one in the south region.

The other new case is in the Saskatoon area.
 
There are now 658 reported cases in Saskatchewan, including 21 active cases.  
 
There is currently one person in intensive care in Saskatoon.

There have been no further recoveries; the provincial totals remains at 624.
 
Of the 658 cases in the province:

  • 145 cases are travellers;
  • 395 are community contacts (including mass gatherings);
  • 78 have no known exposures; and
  • 40 are under investigation by local public health.

On a regional level, 261 of the cases are from the Far North, 175 are from the Saskatoon area, 112 from the North, 80 from the Regina area, 18 from the South and, 12 from the Central region.

Thirteen deaths have been reported to date.
 
A total of 53,116 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province.
