It is now even easier for Moose Jaw area residents to binge watch their favourite shows.

Earlier today, SaskTel announced that 36 rural communities will now have access to faster internet speeds and improved entertainment options, thanks to the launch of maxTV Stream and interNET Extended 25 and 50.

Communities that are part of the launch include Assiniboia, Eyebrow, Mortlach, Central Butte, Mossbank, Gravelbourg, Caron, and more.

The maxTV Stream service combines traditional television with content from services like Netflix and YouTube. It is available in over 280 communities across the province.

In addition, many of these communities can now access the interNET Extended 25 and interNET Extended 50 packages. These plans offer download speeds up to 25 and 50 Mbps, respectively. SaskTel says they are the fastest internet packages the company has ever offered in rural Saskatchewan. These packages were previously offered in some of the communities included in the maxTV Stream rollout.
