MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw and the Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce congratulate Mike and Katie Szeles, our “Notoriously Good Neighbours” for July.
The City of Moose Jaw and the Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce created the program to recognize the Notoriously Friendly, Notoriously Generous and Notoriously Kind- Hearted Moose Javians making a Notoriously Positive difference in our community.
The Szeles were nominated by Sheila and Brian Leahy, who said they’re always willing to lend a helping hand and are an asset to the neighbourhood.
“Katie helped my husband Brian Leahy rush to the aid of a neighbour when he fell,” added Sheila. “They are kind and caring and always watch out for their neighbours in need.”
Sheila said that the two are always available for a sidewalk chat along with their dog, Norman. “We are blessed to have them on our street.”
As official “Notoriously Good Neighbours”, the Szeles were awarded gift certificates to Tunnels of Moose Jaw, a token of appreciation for their contributions to the community.
