Stylists cut, curl, colour and compete in first SE competition

The first annual Southeast College competition for hairstylists was held on Friday, with five competitors from three schools.

The first annual Southeast College competition for hairstylists was held on Friday, with five competitors from three schools.

The first portion was an up-style. Madison Thiele placed first, Sydnee Bandola placed second, and Ashley Hughes placed third.

The second portion was a free-range cut and colour. Sydnee Bandola placed first, Madison Thiele placed second and Ashley Hughes placed third.

Their overall placing was, in first, Sydnee Bandola (Southeast College Teach and Trim, Weyburn); second, Madison Thiele (Style Academy, Regina); third, Ashley Hughes (Elite training center, Moose Jaw).
