UPDATED: Stabbing leads to death, arrest

A Moose Jaw man is dead after a stabbing on Sunday night.

The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to a call around 10 p.m. on Nov. 10 on the 400 block of Stadacona St. East.

Upon arrival, police say they found a man who had been stabbed. He was taken to the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital but was pronounced dead at the hospital.

In an update, the police have identified the deceased as Kevin Hallock, 50. 

Police have a suspect in custody. They have charged Jeffrey McCaig, 30, with second-degree murder.

McCaig will appear in provincial court this afternoon.
