Southwest Saskatchewan is seeing a weather advisory for blowing snow. That includes the Leader-Gull Lake area, Moose Jaw-Pense-Central Butte-Craik area, the Shaunavon-Maple Creek-Val Marie-Cypress Hills area and the Swift Current-Herbert-Cabri-Kyle-Lucky Lake area.

Environment Canada says to expect blowing snow Sunday night and Monday.

Northwesterly winds gusting up to 70 km/h will develop in southwestern Saskatchewan Sunday evening as a low-pressure system tracks through the province. These winds combined with fresh falling snow will produce reduced visibilities in blowing snow Sunday night into Monday.

Visibilities will improve Monday afternoon as both winds and snow gradually diminish through the day.

Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.
