For the third year in a row, the South Hill Community Association is inviting people out to a cleanup blitz in Tatawaw Park to kick off the spring season and celebrate the long weekend.
On May 23, anyone from the community is welcome to join the cleanup crew in Tatawaw Park for the 3rd annual Spring Park Clean-up event.
Those joining in are asked to meet at the 9th Avenue SW entrance to the park at 10 a.m. on the day of the event. Cleanup efforts will continue until noon, as small groups sweep the area, and garbage bags will be provided.
Attendees will be asked to keep their distance from others to abide by public health orders.
The South Hill Community Association is also encouraging people in Moose Jaw to do some litter-picking in their own neighbourhoods of the community that day, especially if they aren’t able to make it down to the park.
