SJHL holding NHL 21 tournament

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) is looking to find the best NHL 21 player in the province.

The SJHL will start its Best in Sask. Circuit Series on April 16. Seventy-two entrants will participate in this esports gaming tournament, which will take place on PlayStation 4 consoles.

Contestants can register as of April 5. There is a $20 entry free. You can register and pay through the SJHL online store. Participants must join the SJHL Discord channel.

There will be 12 divisions of six players each. Divisions will be named after SJHL teams and contestants will represent that team in the tournament. The tournament will consist of three rounds. Each player is guaranteed to play five games in the first round.

The winner of the final round will take home $2,500.

The event will be broadcast live on Twitch.
