Search warrant yields $10K in cocaine, B.C. man arrested

A man from British Columbia has been arrested as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

On Oct. 16th, Moose Jaw Police Service executed a search warrant on Algoma Avenue. Police located approximately $10,000 worth of cocaine, several oxycodone pills and approximately $8,000 of Canadian currency.

Police arrested Ousama Abdulkadir of Surrey, B.C. without incident. He has been charged with the following:

  • possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking;
  • possession of oxycodone;
  • proceeds of crime over $5,000;
  • breach of court order. 

Abdulkadir has been remanded for court on Oct. 19. 

Police continue to investigate.
