Here's a summary of the draw results from the Scotties Tournament of Hearts on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Morning draws:

Nunavut and skip Lori Eddy made an impressive break in their streak of losses, winning their draw against Northern Ontario’s Krista McCarville with a final tally of 6-5.

Just after the devastating game against Jennifer Jones last night, Prince Edward Island’s Suzanne Birt swept back around to gather a 9-3 win over Newfoundland and Labrador’s Erica Curtis in this morning’s draw.

British Columbia’s Corryn Brown also rebounded from an upsetting loss last night with a 12-5 win over Yukon’s Hailey Birnie this morning. 

Team Canada’s Chelsea Carey is keeping pace with other Pool A contenders, securing a 7-5 victory over Alberta’s Laura Walker. 

Afternoon draws:

New Brunswick’s Andrea Crawford and her team made Scotties history in their draw against Manitoba’s Kerri Einarson, collecting seven points in the seventh end for a tournament record. Crawford’s 13-7 win over Einarson broke Manitoba’s undefeated streak. 

The crowd was rowdy during the draw between Saskatchewan’s Robyn Silvernagle and Quebec’s Noemie Verreault, leading Silvernagle to a 5-3 win that puts her into a first-place tie with Ontario in Pool A.

Ontario’s Rachel Homan duelled with Nova Scotia’s Mary-Anne Arsenault, with a 10-7 final tally in favour of Homan.

Wild Card Jennifer Jones also brought in an 11-3 win over Northwest Territories’ Kerry Galusha, placing her in a first-place tie in Pool B. 

Evening Draws:

New Brunswick and skip Andrea Crawford continued the celebration from their historic afternoon draw with an 11-6 win over Quebec’s Noemie Verreault, leaving Quebec at the bottom of Pool A.

In an interesting match-up, Manitoba’s Kerri Einarson took the ice against Saskatchewan’s Robyn Silvernagle and emerged victorious with a 10-6 final tally, handing Manitoba the top spot in Pool A.

Ontario’s Rachel Homan secured a 9-5 victory over Northwest Territories skip Kerry Galusha, the second win for Ontario today.

Wild Card Jennifer Jones also continued her win streak for the day with a 9-7 win that went into an eleventh end to determine.
