Premier Scott Moe wants the prime minister to know what matters to the people of Saskatchewan.
The premier has sent a letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau that outlines the province’s priorities ahead of the upcoming Throne Speech on Sept. 23.
Moe says it is important to highlight these concerns, given that Saskatchewan currently lacks representation in the Liberal caucus.
Several items are addressed, including a pause on the carbon tax, addressing climate change with participation from other provinces, infrastructure approvals, and the inequity of federal transfers.
