Teacher assistant at Ecole Gravelbourg School arrested on Nov. 16.

A teacher’s assistant at Ecole Gravelbourg School has been charged with numerous sexual offences against a male student.

Dannica Lowes of Moose Jaw was arrested on Nov. 16. She is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, luring a child, making sexually explicit material available to a child, invitation to sexual touching, and possession of child pornography.

Gravelbourg RCMP say they got a report in September of sexual offences involving a male youth. Their investigation determined that the teacher’s assistant committed offences that had involved a teenage boy.

Lowes appears in Assiniboia court on Dec. 14.
