After a cybersecurity incident on the weekend and subsequent shutdown of classes in response, Saskatchewan Polytechnic students are now beginning a staggered return to classes starting today.

Select in-person courses and training will resume today, said an update shared by the institution. Online courses and classes held over Zoom, with the exception of the LINC class, will remain cancelled until the end of the week.

For programs that are not returning to campus this week, Sask Polytech is promising another update on Sunday.

The institution is continuing to work with IT Services, external experts and other third parties to minimize the impact of the security breach and restore all services fully.
