Regina Police arrest four on drug trafficking charges during traffic stops

Four individuals have been charged with drug trafficking offenses following a pair of traffic stops by Regina police on Sunday

Regina Police arrested four individuals for drug trafficking in two traffic stops over the weekend.

Regina police conducted two traffic stops on the weekend that led to the seizure of a large amount of drugs and the arrest of four individuals believed to be involved in drug trafficking. 

Following investigation by the Crime Reduction Team, police conducted two traffic stops on July 25, one on Highway 11 and one within the city of Regina. 

Three men and one woman were arrested without incident, identified as Catherine Rose Hall, 39, Nazareth Alviola, 44, Aldrin John Manalaysay Pascua, 31 and Gerald Donondon, 31.

Officers seized several items during the search of the vehicles, including a quantity of cash, ammunition, and other items linked to drug trafficking. Several pieces of identification were also found, which didn't belong to any of the individuals arrested.

Police also seized 933 grams of fentanyl, 562 grams of methamphetamine and small amounts of ecstasy and cocaine.

All four individuals have been jointly charged with two counts of possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking, related to the fentanyl and methamphetamine recovered. 

Donondom was additionally charged with breach of undertaking. 

Pascua was additionally charged with two counts of possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking, related to the ecstasy and cocaine recovered, as well as possession of proceeds of crime, possession of identity documents and breach of probation. 

The four accused made a first court appearance in provincial court on Monday.
