Beginning at 8:30 a.m. this morning, the drive-through immunization clinic in Regina is open only to residents aged 50-54 seeking vaccination today.

The clinic is open until 11 p.m. today and will be delivering vaccines on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Residents aged 55 and over are not able to utilize the drive-through clinic at this time, but may still book a vaccine appointment at the mass immunization clinic either online or by calling the Vaccine Call Centre at 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829).

Public health is urging eligible residents to seek vaccination due to the increasing concerns about variant transmission in Regina and area.

The drive-through clinic will open up to additional age groups based on demand, as public health assess lineups and the rate of vaccine delivery.

To minimize wait times at the clinic, public health is asking residents to only attend the clinic if their age group has been advised to be eligible.

Wait times are being updated hourly online at saskatchewan.ca/drive-thru-vax.
