RCMP responded to 78 COVID-19 calls last week

There were 78 calls for service related to COVID-19 between April 17 and 23

Saskatchewan RCMP officers continue to field calls related to COVID-19.

From April 17 to April 23 inclusive, there were 78 such calls for service in the province.

This includes:

  • 43 complaints of social gatherings of over 10 people;
  • Eight complaints of people failing to self-isolate when allegedly required to do so;
  • 27 other COVID-19 related complaints.

One charge was laid.

The RCMP remind the public that the Public Health Order is still in place. The RCMP continues to work with the Saskatchewan Health Authority to investigate any potential violations.
