On April 5, officers of the Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) arrested and charged a 38-year-old male with fraud in or around Moose Jaw.
Sherwood, Quebec resident Cedrik Landry, 38, has been charged with fraud over $5,000 and with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Landry made his first appearance in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on April 8 with the aid of a French-language interpreter, and has been remanded to the Regina Correctional Centre until his next court hearing. The next court date is scheduled for Monday, April 15 in Moose Jaw.
The MJPS has confirmed that the primary victim of this offence has been contacted.
