Well-known provincial food journalist Jenn Sharp plans to feature Moose Jaw business Prairie Bee Meadery on an upcoming episode of her TV show Flat Out Food

The locally owned and operated business will appear on Flat Out Food’s fourth episode entitled Honey, which airs tonight, March 17, at 10 p.m. Saskatchewan time on Citytv. The episode also repeats on Saturday, March 20, at 10:30 p.m. Saskatchewan time.

The episode can also be watched live in Saskatchewan at www.citytv.com/video/live/ or on the Citytv app.

Saskatchewan-grown ingredients go from field to plate with the help of host Sharp and some of the province’s top culinary minds as part of this multi-part docuseries.

Crystal Milburn, co-owner of Prairie Bee Meadery, will represent the business on the episode. Milburn is set to discuss mead’s history — which dates to ancient Egypt — and weaves it into the history of today’s Saskatchewan. She also shares her family’s background in making mead and her fascinating insights into being an entrepreneur in the food industry.
