Another cougar may have been spotted in Moose Jaw.

Earlier this morning, the Moose Jaw Police Service received a report of a possible cougar sighting in the area of Sunningdale Park/Rotary Cove Trail, located East of Sunningdale School.

Police were unable to find the cougar. The MJPS continue to work with conservation officers and will remain in the area to monitor the situation. They will continue to look for possible sightings or confirmation.

Please note that, although this remains an unconfirmed sighting, the public is asked to avoid this area.

If you happen to see a cougar, do not approach the animal. Please notify the MJPS immediately by calling (306) 694-7600.

If the sighting is eventually confirmed, it would be the second cougar in the city since September.
