Officers attended to a residence on South Hill on March 14 around 2:35 p.m. to assist members of the Ministry of Social Services.

Upon arrival, officers were met by an individual armed with a weapon who was threatening self-harm. Police deployed a CEW, which allowed them to control the situation safely.

The individual was transported to the hospital with minor self-inflicted injuries.

No other information is currently available.
