Police need help finding man accused of child porn offences

The Moose Jaw Police Service has obtained an arrest warrant for Nolan Conway in relation to alleged child pornography offences and is asking for the public’s help in locating him.

The Moose Jaw Police Service has obtained an arrest warrant for Nolan Conway in relation to alleged child pornography offences and is asking for the public’s help in locating him.

The police have laid eight charges against Conway, 40, including two counts of making child pornography, two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference and two counts of sexual exploitation.

These offences stem from an investigation of possession of child pornography that began in February 2022. That investigation led to a search of the Conway's residence in April. At that time Conway, of Moose Jaw, was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.

The search also led to the seizure of several electronic devices that required further forensic analysis.

The Moose Jaw Police Service Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) investigators, in partnership with the Saskatchewan ICE Unit, examined these devices for further evidence of offences for child pornography. The evidence found on these devices and further investigation by the MJPS resulted in additional charges against Conway.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Its mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the internet.
