Police find stolen vehicle, seize $2,500 worth of meth

On Dec. 30 the Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) attended to a location on South Hill, due to suspicious activity.

Police found a stolen vehicle and then arrested the occupants without incident.

During a search of the vehicle, police found and seized 23 grams of methamphetamine, along with stolen identity documents. The approximate value of the methamphetamine is $2,500.

44-year-old James Hadwen of Edmonton, AB is facing charges of:

  • possession of stolen property exceeding $5,000;
  • possession of methamphetamine;
  • possession of identity documents x 10; and
  • breach of probation x 4.

Hadwen has been released. He will appear in court at a later date.
