The Moose Jaw Police Service has charged Jody Lauer with five counts of arson for fires that allegedly happened between last summer and March 5.

Police have investigated 20 suspicious fires in the city since last summer and found similiarities among them.

Lauer, 43, from Moose Jaw, has been released on a court order with conditions including a curfew; he’ll appear in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on May 16.
