The Moose Jaw Board of Police Commissioners is inviting residents to the next meeting for an “open house”-style event.

The event will be held Thursday, June 8 at 7 p.m. in the South room (upstairs) of the Moose Jaw Public Library.

Rather than a formal meeting, the police service will provide the public with information on the many services its provides within the community.

Among the presentations there will be an overview of the police service, including presentations on:

  • Police and Crisis Teams (PACT)
  • Internet Child Exploitation (ICE)
  • Victim Services and Accredited Facility Dog SVEN
  • Tactical Response Team
  • Priorities and initiatives
  • Crime statistics and relevant data

All members of the public and media are invited.

Police board meetings are normally held on the second Thursdays of the month at 2 p.m. at the Cultural Centre.
