Police arrest second suspect connected to attempted murder

Police located and arrested Shaun Clayton Robinson at a motel on Athabasca Street East on March 31 at 9:45 a.m.

The Moose Jaw Police Service has arrested another suspect wanted in connection to an attempted murder.

Police located and arrested Shaun Robinson at a motel on Athabasca Street East on March 31 at 9:45 a.m. on his outstanding warrant for attempted murder. Robinson was taken into custody without incident after police found him hiding in the motel room. He will be in provincial court on April 1, according to a news release.  

Police also arrested an adult male from Punnichy who had numerous warrants. The Punnichy man has also charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000 after police located a stolen vehicle on scene.

Throughout the investigation police also seized a firearm that matched the description of the firearm used in the incident.

Police thanked the community for the tips provided. The investigation is ongoing.
