The Moose Jaw Police Service has arrested Myles Joseph Neill after responding to a situation on South Hill early on March 9.

Police attended to a residence on the city’s south side for a report of a suspicious male. When they arrived, Neill — whom officers knew and who was wanted for outstanding warrants — fled on foot.

The police service’s K-9 unit attended to the scene and attempted to locate Neill, 33, of Moose Jaw. After searching the area, officers found the man and took him into custody.

Police charged Neill with robbery with a firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited, uttering death threats, breaking and entering, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and other offences.

Neill will appear in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Friday, March 10.
