Two people were injured in an early morning stabbing on Main Street North, resulting in a 38-year-old man being charged and taken to police cells.
Officers with the Moose Jaw Police Service responded at 1:32 a.m. on March 3 to a call about an assault that had resulted in two people being stabbed.
Police arrested a 38-year-old male at the scene, transported him to police cells, and held him until he became sober. Officers charged the accused with two counts of assault with a weapon and will appear in court later.
One injured person was transported to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening wounds, while EMS looked at the other person on scene and did not require further treatment.
Officers continue to investigate the situation.
