After launching the vaccine delivery pilot with pharmacies last week, the Saskatchewan Health Authority has added more locations to the list of pharmacies able to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to residents.

As of May 3, an additional 41 pharmacies have been added to the pilot program, for a total of 102 pharmacies in 37 communities approved to receive vaccine doses and administer them to eligible residents by public health.

Four of those pharmacies are located in Moose Jaw, which remains unchanged from last week.

Residents within the current eligibility criteria are able to book an appointment at one of the participating locations by contacting the pharmacies directly.

In Moose Jaw, Loblaw Pharmacy located at 30 Thatcher Drive E, Moose Jaw Co-op Pharmacy at Hillcrest located at 7A Thatcher Drive E, Safeway Pharmacy located at 200 1st Ave W, and TLC Pharmacy located in the Town 'n’ Country Mall are all booking COVID-19 vaccine appointments.

Residents interested in booking an appointment can do so by calling Loblaw Pharmacy or Co-op Pharmacy by phone, or going online to pharmacyappointments.ca to book into Safeway Pharmacy.

TLC Pharmacy is taking appointments by phone or online, by filling out the available form shared on its Facebook page and emailing it to the pharmacy.

Pharmacies are receiving Pfizer BioNTech vaccines as part of the pilot, with another shipment reportedly arriving this week. Appointments are available based on vaccine supply.

The list of participating pharmacies can be viewed at saskatchewan.ca/COVID19-pharmacies.
